[On Wednesday, April 10th, Shion will receive a letter.]

Shion,

If you are getting this, then I am no longer in the Tower. I wish I could have remained to continue to train you and Xion, but it appears the Admins had other things in mind.

You have a strength in you that you should be proud of, and with Reno's training you will be able to defend those you love and care about. You are a Turk and you have been trained by the best. Remember to always keep calm, keep a clear head, and you will go far.

To be honest, I wasn't sure if Reno made a good decision in making you a Rookie. I'm glad to see that I was very wrong. Be good to Xion and watch over her for me. You two are partners, you can and should rely on one another during times of trouble and crisis.

I am very proud to have known you.

I'm not good at telling people things. What I was trying to say on the staircase. You've been my longest friend here, someone I can trust and depend on. Someone I'm proud to call family, and son. You got a lot more going for you than you think. Use your head, but don't forget your heart. You will be the best of us someday.

[There is a small package of mushrooms, root vegetables, herbs, and some berries that Reno has gathered. It also includes a small bottle of what looks to be one of Reno's alcohols from last year, and it looks like it was in the ground for a while, but cleaned off and wrapped in a cloth.]

I forgot to give you the latest monster hunting reports last time I saw you. Could you come by my room and grab them?

There's some dried jerky in my trunk if you get hungry and you're not feeling up to walking.

Don't worry about the reports for a while, I've got it covered and they're being taken care of. Focus on getting rest.

I want to set up another meeting with Diarmuid to discuss progress. I know it's still early after the last event and we're still dealing with that but I don't think we're going to get many breaks between them now.

[This package is slim. Book sized, actually, and inside is a hand made book much like Shion's foraging guide.

It's a book of stories. Each one short, but some were in a series. Some sounded like children's stories and others like old legends.

It's all in Reno's handwriting, which changes sometimes from paragraph to paragraph: one section looks more like what his writing looked in October, another in December.

At the end, Reno wrote a note:

Shion,

These stories are what I can remember of the ones my grandmother used to tell. Most of them are old legends and children's stories. Can't say how accurate they are because I haven't heard them in years. I grew up with these. I'm not good at storytelling, but I wanted you to have a copy. Share them with your sister.
